What is Shopify?
Shopify is one of the world’s most popular e-commerce platforms, powering millions of online stores. Merchants use it to sell products, manage orders and customers, and run their entire business - from a small side project to a large brand.
Behind every store is a lot of structured data: products and their variants, images, collections, customers, companies and metafields (custom fields that extend any of these). The standard Shopify admin is great for everyday tasks, but editing this data in bulk - or keeping it in sync with external sources - quickly becomes slow and repetitive. That is exactly where DbGate Shopify App helps.
What it does
Managing store data through the standard Shopify admin is fine for one record at a time, but it quickly becomes tedious when you need to update prices across hundreds of products, clean up collections, or review metafields in bulk.
DbGate Shopify App puts all of your store entities into a familiar grid - products, variants, images, collections, customers, companies, files and metafields - so you can browse and edit them the same way you would work with a database table. Metafields are fully supported, including metafield definitions and metafields from other apps installed in your store.

Bulk view & edit
Edit your store data directly in the grid and apply changes in bulk:
- Update prices, SKUs and barcodes
- Edit descriptions and inventory
- Manage variants, images and metafields
- Bulk delete records you no longer need

Edit many records at once instead of one at a time
Import & export
Move data in and out of your store in the formats you already use:
- Export products, collections, customers and metafields to CSV, XML and JSON
- Import data from the same formats to create or update records in bulk
This makes it easy to back up your catalog, migrate data, or prepare bulk updates in a spreadsheet and push them back to Shopify.
Automated data feeds
Beyond one-off exports, you can set up scheduled jobs that generate data feeds from your store automatically. A job exports your Shopify data - products, collections, customers and more - into a feed file (CSV, XML or JSON) that other systems can consume, such as price comparison sites, marketplaces or your own integrations.
Standard, ready-to-use feed formats are supported out of the box, including the Google Merchant Center product feed, Facebook (Meta) catalog feed and Heureka - so you can plug straight into the most common shopping channels.
Feeds can be generated on demand or on a schedule - interval, daily or weekly - so they always reflect the latest store data without manual work.
Filter, search & analyze
Quickly find the records you need with fast filtering and search, then analyze your store data right in the grid - sort, filter and review thousands of records in seconds.
