Version 7.3.3 - Refreshed Interface and Reliability Improvements

Published: 2026-10-27 | Stela Augustínová

DbGate 7.3.3 refreshes light and dark themes, including buttons, menus, dialogs, and notifications, and adds easier access to cloud deployment options. This release improves Redis browsing, makes disabled MongoDB filters behave as expected, and resolves issues with export downloads and failed SSH connections. It also updates application dependencies and addresses multiple security issues.

Cloud Deployment Shortcuts

The DbGate README now includes one-click deployment links for RepoCloud, Railway, Elestio, and Sealos. These provide a starting point for deploying the web version of DbGate through your preferred platform.

More Reliable Redis Browsing

Version 7.3.3 fixes the counts shown for Redis lists, sets, sorted sets, streams, and hashes. The counting logic now uses the appropriate command for each key type and keeps results aligned with their keys when a command fails.

Redis stream pagination also handles large entry IDs correctly. Stream IDs contain a timestamp and a sequence number; the updated cursor calculation preserves their full integer precision and advances correctly when the sequence reaches its maximum value. This fixes incorrect pagination when browsing streams with large IDs, as reported in #1599.

Fixes for Filters, Downloads, and SSH Connections

Disabled MongoDB column filters are now excluded from the query conditions. You can temporarily turn off a column filter without its saved value continuing to restrict the displayed documents.

Export downloads now work when the workspace is stored in a hidden directory. Previously, the download handler could reject the file because a parent directory in the workspace path began with a dot.

Failed SSH tunnel connections now clean up their background processes. Previously, repeated connection failures could leave a new process running after each attempt, causing excessive memory usage over time. DbGate now terminates the process after a failure and progressively increases the delay between further attempts. This addresses #1605.

Updated Runtime and Security Fixes

This release updates application dependencies and the Electron runtime used by the desktop application. The Alpine Docker image also moves from Node.js 18 to Node.js 24.

Version 7.3.3 addresses multiple security issues. We recommend updating to benefit from these fixes alongside the interface and reliability improvements.
